Jumping Dolphins - Gravity Drive
A baby dolphin playing in the water with its mum and a diving girl taking pictures, hidden in a coral reef surrounded by turtles. The mechanism that puts jumping dolphins in motion depends on the force of gravity. The blocks that make up the diver in the reef have the right weight to set the mechanism in motion. The falling speed and the speed of the dolphins' movement, depends on the mass of blocks attached, so the set can be used both for fun and for conducting experiments with gravity. A special key to rewind the line is also included. This design perfectly reflects the assumptions of STEM: Science - Physics, Technology - scientific knowledge used for fun and learn purposes, Engineering - designed using gears, reels and line, combined into a working mechanism and Math - calculations (needed to build the model) and the possibility of learning mathematics by playing with the set. This simple build (contains about 220 blocks only) will bring joy for everybody, providing endless fun.
