<h3>Science, Technology, Engineering and Math are for movers and shakers, but can you create a small model that features some sort of movement to stand the chance of becoming a real LEGO Gift with Purchase?&nbsp;</h3>

<h3>Your model should be at most 250 bricks, with a minimum of 150 bricks. You can use LEGO Technic elements to make your build move, but please use primarily LEGO System elements.&nbsp;</h3>

<h3>We&rsquo;re not looking for too complex functions, so please keep your movement simple. For example, a rotation, push or pull, or something opening and closing. Tensegrity builds are allowed, but the model should also work and look nice when it is not in a tensegrity position.&nbsp;</h3>

<p>The contest will consist of 3 phases:</p>

<ol>
	<li><strong>Submission Phase</strong> - Build and submit your entry before May 12th, 2020&nbsp;at 6:00&nbsp;a.m. EST. We recommend submitting your entry 3-5 days before the deadline in the event we&nbsp;have to&nbsp;return it to you for changes. </li>
	<li><strong>Judging Phase</strong> &ndash;&nbsp;Our judges review the entries and choose 15 entries, which will then go forward to a Fan Vote, on&nbsp;May 26th, 2022.</li>
	<li><strong>Voting Phase</strong> &ndash;&nbsp;&nbsp;LEGO Ideas members will then&nbsp;have the opportunity to&nbsp;vote once, for their favorite entry from&nbsp;May 26th, 2022 until June 2nd, 2022.</li>
	<li><strong>Winners Announcement</strong> -&nbsp;We&#39;ll share the Grand Prize winner and five Runner Up winners here on LEGO Ideas no later than&nbsp;June 9th 2022! </li>

<h3>How to Enter:</h3>

<ol>
	<li>Submissions may be in either physical bricks or by using a digital building tool such as <a href="https://www.bricklink.com/v3/studio/download.page" target="_blank">Bricklink&rsquo;s Studio</a>. You&rsquo;re welcome to use image editing tools, such as Photoshop, to create your images.</li>
	<li>Take up to five photos of your creation and submit them to the contest. Make sure to show off all angles and any features or functions of your creation.</li>
	<li>Add a title and short description.</li>
	<li>Upload your entry to the contest using the blue Submit Your Entry button on this page.</li>

<h3>Acceptable Entry Content</h3>

<ul>
	<li>Your entry model should&nbsp;be between 150&nbsp;and&nbsp;250&nbsp;bricks&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
	<li>You must be the original creator of all creative work you submit (the model, images, photographs, description text, etc.) and you must have the exclusive right to submit your model to this LEGO Ideas Contest. You may not submit a&nbsp;model&nbsp;or any other content made by, or on behalf of, someone else. &nbsp;</li>
	<li>Entries must be new creations and not previously posted online or submitted to any other contest. &nbsp;</li>
	<li>You&nbsp;are allowed to&nbsp;use any official LEGO element (LEGO System, LEGO DUPLO, LEGO TECHNIC/Constraction) in your entry. The LEGO elements must be genuine (not cut, glued, or otherwise modified). &nbsp;</li>
	<li>Entries should not contain copies or references to any other existing third-party work or creation or infringements of any third-party intellectual property right such as Ford or Ferrari.&nbsp;</li>
	<li>You&rsquo;re welcome to use Minifigures in your entry,&nbsp;as long as&nbsp;they don&rsquo;t&nbsp;contain copies or references to any other existing third-party work or creation or infringements of any third-party intellectual property right&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
	<li>Contest entries related to the topics below do not fit our brand values and will not be approved for publication on LEGO Ideas: &nbsp;</li>
	<li>Politics and political symbols, campaigns, or movements &nbsp;</li>

	<li>Sex, nudity, drugs, or smoking &nbsp;</li>

<h3>Entry Quality Standards</h3>

<ul>
	<li>You may submit digital entries using <a href="https://www.bricklink.com/v3/studio/download.page" target="_blank">Bricklink&rsquo;s Studio</a>, which is free of charge to download. You are also welcome to create digital entries using third-party LEGO CAD software. </li>
	<li>You may use photo editing software and add visual effects to photos of your entry.</li>
	<li>Entries containing photos that are too dark or blurry will be removed from the contest. To ensure easy judging of your entry, we recommend taking pictures on a neutral background free from background clutter, with your model well framed.</li>
	<li>Please do not include people in pictures you submit. Photos containing people will be removed.</li>
	<li>Please do not overlay any text or logos onto your submitted images. &nbsp;</li>
</ul>

<h3>House Rules</h3>

<ul>
	<li>Entries containing defamatory or degrading elements will not be eligible for the contest.</li>
	<li>Any cheating or harassment of other participants will result in disqualification from the contest.</li>
	<li>Your contest entries and comments on contest entries must follow the complete LEGO Ideas <a href="https://ideas.lego.com/guidelines#house_rules">House Rules</a>.</li>
</ul>

<h3>Submission Requirements&nbsp;</h3>

<p>In order to get your submission approved, your submission must include the following:&nbsp;</p>

<ul>
	<li>A title*&nbsp;</li>
	<li>Photos of your build&nbsp;</li>
	<li>A video, between 5 and 10 seconds long that shows off the movement of your model.&nbsp;</li>
	<li>Your photos and video should be in a: 16:9/1:1 aspect ratio/format. Photos and videos that are taller than they are wide will not be accepted.&nbsp;</li>
	<li>A description*&nbsp;</li>
	<li>Entries may have tags, if you wish.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>

<p>* - Submissions should have correct capitalization and not have any spelling mistakes.&nbsp;</p>

<h3>Judging</h3>

<p>A panel of judges consisting of members of the LEGO Design team will choose 15 entries, which will go onto a fan vote, based on: </p>

<ul>
	<li>Overall coolness and originality: 25% &nbsp;</li>
	<li>Most inspired details: 25% &nbsp;</li>
	<li>Relevance to contest theme: 25% &nbsp;</li>
	<li>Best use of LEGO elements: 25% &nbsp;</li>
</ul>

<p>These 15 entries will then be put forward to a fan vote, in which LEGO Ideas members can vote for their favorite entry. Members will have one vote, and one vote only. The vote will be open for one week, from May 26th, 2022 until June 2nd, 2022 Based on the community votes, there will be one Grand Prize winner and five Runner Up winners.&nbsp;</p>

<h3>The Fine Print</h3>

<ul>
	<li>You must be at least 13 years of age to participate and enter. &nbsp;</li>
	<li>You may submit multiple entries to the contest, but only one entry per person will be considered when winners are selected. This means you cannot win as a semi-finalist and as the grand prize winner with two different entries.  &nbsp;</li>
	<li>Winners will be contacted on the email address associated with their LEGO ID account after June 2nd, 2022. Winners will be announced on LEGO Ideas when all winners have returned the signed Winner&rsquo;s Certification Documents. A winner who does not return their Winner&rsquo;s Certification Document within one week (5 days) of receiving it will be disqualified, and a new winner will be selected.  &nbsp;</li>
	<li>Active participation by way of submissions of any kind to this Contest is not open to residents of Iran, North Korea, Myanmar/Burma, Zimbabwe, Sudan, Syria, Russia or any other country which is subjected to sanctions and where prohibited or restricted by law, for as long as such sanctions remain in place. Submissions in active contests by residents of Russia will unfortunately not be eligible for prizes as long as sanctions remain in place.</li>
	<li>If you are a resident of Ukraine or Belarus and are selected as a contest winner, your prizes will be shipped at a later date once shipping resumes normal operation.&nbsp;</li>
