The Mini Globe

When I was thinking about my dream vacation, I thought of numerous places I would go--I didn't know how to pick just one. Then I had the idea of making a globe, allowing me to see all the places I want to visit. This globe uses plates connected onto the sides, and the globe can even rotate on its axis. The globe is also stable, allowing it to stand on its own.

I really enjoyed designing this build because it challenged be to form the spherical Earth onto a square-like surface. Designing the stand was also tricky and fun to come up with. 

It took a little while to "planet" all out, but I am very pleased with the final design.
