The Tortoise and the Hare
Simple classic tale, the Tortoise and the Hare
For story-telling, story can be as follows:
- Introduce the tortoise and the hare with the book closed
- Talk about the race starting and the hare getting a major head start while opening the book and setting up the tree
- Hare is approaching the finish but the tortoise is sooo far behind that he decides to take a nap under the shade of the tree (rotate face to sleeping)
- Tortoise walks by
- Hare finally wakes up and runs to the end only to find the tortoise already there
I think the "sleeping" face is a kissing one, but I couldn't find any other in the LDD that passed for sleeping
Folded tree can be seen in the last pic, flower are offset so they don't collide when it closes.
The pass is barely visible when the book is closed (mostly covered by the middle brown block)
