Journey to the Center of the Earth
"The Journey is impossible!" says Liedenbrock's reluctant nephew, but the professor refuses to believe it. With Hans joining the expedition as a guide, the company embarks on Arne Saknussumm's trail to the center of the earth.
This pop-up scene is based off of Jules Verne's unabridged novel, and features two main scenes: a detailed tunnel (that can be used for multiple parts of the story) and the underground ocean/mushroom forest. It also includes two smaller scenes: an expanded mushroom scene, and a rocky ocean shore that the raft runs into. As it is very important for the book to close properly, I have made sure that there are overhanging pieces. The raft is made to stand upright, the sail folds down, and the "cavern" roof keeps it standing upright for storage. The rope ladder can be lifted up or down for play in the tunnel. This is a very unique design and structure, and I have done my best to give it a creative and interesting twist. Made with 100% genuine LEGO bricks.
