Say ‘Aaah’

For this contest I challenged myself to fully embrace the pop-up aspect of it. I wanted everything to be made so the creation fits in the book when closed and fully pops-up when the book is opened, without having to manually fold open extra parts or add many additions. This way opening and closing the book can be done really quickly, many times in a row, just like many play features in actual LEGO sets that you just keep repeating. 

In this case my story opens up to a big open mouth with a glowing set of teeth! A set of eyes get pulled up just like in the official LEGO Pop-Up book with a string. The eyes then fall down automatically to each side. This is made sure by having pieces installed to prevent it from falling the other way. 

I wanted it to have play value, so I came up with the idea of a tooth fairy. This perfectly fits the mouth and teeth aspect. The fairy, including a toothbrush she carries and a golden coin and an extra set of closed eyes are the only add-ons.
