Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe
This is a perfect story to build in front of a fireplace on a wintry evening! It features three major scenes from the story: The Wardrobe, Lantern Waste (Lamppost), and The Stone Table.
The Lamppost in the snowy woods represents the adventure unfolding in Narnia, and the cracked Stone Table in spring represents the story about to come to a close. The Wardrobe is of course one of the most important objects in the book and movie, so I chose that to be at the center of my pop-up story. The Wardrobe doors open in the center, so I needed to find a piece alternative to the "cheese slope" piece that could be placed at the bottom to help fold it down. And the piece "bracket 1x1-1x1 inverted" worked.
Main Features:
~The Wardrobe doors really open
~The Stone Table has a technic pin in the center so that it can "crack"
~The Stone Table can also be re-positioned so that it stands upright for the pop-up book to close
~It also includes two micro model scenes: Aslan's Camp and the Witch's Castle
