Sleeping Beauty's Maleficent.
For my entry to the ‘100 Years of Fairytales’ challenge I wanted to do something both iconic and challenging. So I decided to do a bust of my favourite Disney character, and villain. Maleficent
Every hero needs a villain, and of all the Disney Villains, Maleficent is one of the most iconic for being Princess Aurora's antagonist in the Disney classic animated movie 'Sleeping Beauty'.
The character has been a bit of a challenge and has involved a lot of going backward and foward using ‘SNOT’ techniques to try and get an organic feel to the head, face and those wonderful horns of hers.
In total Maleficent comes in at 681 pieces.
