Walt Disney Studios // Roy E. Disney Animation Building
With 799 pieces, I built Walt Disney Studios; I built it as a celebration of Disney animated movies and tv shows throughout time.
I decided to reference Mickey Mouse, Snow White, Peter Pan, Cinderella, Phineas and Ferb (through Perry and Doofenshmirtz), Ducktales (with Scrooge McDuck), Mulan, The Princess and the Frog, Alladin, The Lion King, and last but certainly not least, The Emperor's New Groove because of their iconicity, and or because it's one of my personal favorites.
This build is half modular, as most of the building isn't to minifigure scale, but it still displays what's found inside of an animation studio: an animation desk, a story wall (in the form of a collection of various animation references), and the multiplane camera, a famous invention by Disney.
Lastly, the minifigures are an animator, an animation director, and a special golden Walt Disney figure to truly encapsulate his legacy.
This is my first build, and even if I don't win, I still feel accomplished.
