Oswald the Lucky Rabbit

This is a diorama/habitat featuring Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, done in the style of a classic black-and-white cartoon. My favorite Disney era is the ‘20s-‘50s, when everything was young and new and Disney was a scrappy upstart. I’m also fascinated by the story of Oswald, and how he was a “lost” character for so many decades. I love imagining what things might have been like if they had only gone a little differently, if Oswald had become an iconic powerhouse and Walt never had to invent Mickey Mouse. History could have been very different.
