The Aristocats - Scales and Arpeggios
🎵😸
Do mi sol do do sol mi do,
Every truly cultured music student knows,
You must learn your scales and arpeggios!
When thinking about all of the classic Disney movies I have seen, The Aristocats (1970) stood out to me. I really like this movie because it has a love and appreciation for cats and combines some of the most iconic parts of Disney movies: Anthropomorphic animals, catchy music, and classic hand-drawn animation.
My 455-piece build pays tribute to these fancy felines by building the scene where we meet the Aristocats – Duchess, Marie, Toulouse, and Berlioz – for the first time. In the three vignettes, Toulouse is painting Edgar the butler on his easel, Berlioz is playing the piano while Marie starts to sing the song, “Scales and Arpeggios,” and Duchess is sitting in a chair nearby listening to her kittens. My favorite and most challenging part of this build was recreating the ornate piano.
Thank you for taking a look at my entry!
