Fantasia: The Sorcerer's Hat
If anyone were to ask me what my favorite Disney movie of all time would be the answer will always be nonother than Fantasia from 1940! The mix of classical music conducted by Leopold Stokowski, and some of the most artistic animation to tell the stories of each segment make the movie a timeless classic.
This set idea is based off the well-known third segment, The Sorcerer's Apprentice, in Mickey Mouse uses the magic of his master's (Yen Sid) hat to brings a broom to life to fill up a cauldron with water which later goes wrong on Mickey.
Whenever, I think of this segment, the first thing that comes to mind is the Sorcerer's hat which has become not only an iconic look for Mickey, but also an iconic Disney item. I still look at old family photos from our trip to Disney World where we were in front of the once stood Sorcerer's hat at Disney's Hollywood Studios which brings back fun memories. This set includes existing pieces (with some pieces in new colors) and exactly 796 pieces.
