Bonjour! Little Town, It’s a Quiet Village
“There goes the baker with his tray, like always
The same old bread and rolls to sell…”
This is a recreation of the iconic opening scene from the 1991 Disney classic - “Beauty and the Beast.”
This set captures multiple scenes of the “little town, quiet village” with 5 distinct rooms that are accessed when the hinge is fully open - a silversmith, a bakery, a book shop, a barber, and an inn.
The set includes famous minifigures like Belle, Gaston, and Le Fou as well as some of the townspeople from the opening scene - a baker, a barber, a bookseller, and the townsperson who receives a “haircut” when half his mustache gets chopped off!
The roof is built to allow Gaston to climb in search of Belle. It is also built for easy removal to give access to the upper rooms.
The town includes details appropriate to a French “poor provincial town” - from the curved roof pieces to the lattice windows and arched doorways.
This set is great for imaginative play OR leaving out for display!
