Robin Hood: Prince John’s Carriage Robbery

This 703 piece submission depicts the moment Robin Hood robs Prince John’s carriage in the 1973 animated classic, an iconic moment from my girlfriend’s favourite Disney film.

The diorama style build features Prince John’s luxurious royal carriage on a track through Sherwood Forest with Robin Hood ready to ambush nearby. There are plenty of details throughout the model including a printed target piece, Sir Hiss in his basket, a chest full of the jewels stolen from Prince John’s rings, and plenty of gold!

I tried to use a range of interesting parts throughout the build including gold telescopes and goblets alongside purple shield tiles to add texture to the carriage curtains. As an interesting play feature this set has removable back wheels and curtains that hang in the air to visualise the crash towards the end of the robbery sequence. A final set could feature different, more accurate outfits for the Minifigures to match the film.

Any feedback or support is greatly appreciated!
