LEGO Collide (Bringing Radio and Voice Control Together)
The Idea behind LEGO Collide is to bring radio-controlled LEGO
products to life with voice-activated commands! As shown in the attached photos,
the idea is simple; the LEGO creator wears a headset that enables the radio-controlled
vehicle to perform certain movements. For example, if the LEGO creator wanted
to lift the front loader of the vehicle to move a pile of LEGO rubble or activate
the saw to cut into LEGO rocks to find precious stones, then the LEGO creator
would move the vehicle to the desired location and issue a command through the
LEGO Collide headset. In this example, the creator would state “LEGO, lift
front loader” or “LEGO, activate saw” in which those objects would perform the
issued commands. Additionally, the LEGO Collide headset would respond with an
acknowledgment stating “Roger that! Lifting front loader” or “Copy! Saw
activated!” which would simulate the LEGO character inside the vehicle
communicating with the LEGO creator. LEGO Collide could be used in multiple applications
in virtually all LEGO products and will be sure to provide endless hours of fun
for all ages!
