Voice Controlled Mobile Camera

I propose a voice controlled mobile camera that would consist of two main modules, the mobility and controller unit and the  camera housing unit.  The mobility and controller unit contains the power supply for the propulsion and steering motors, the camera's tilt, pan and roll motors and the controller.  The controller processes voice commands and input from the obstacle avoidance sensor to control movement of the camera dolly, the pan, tilt and roll positions of the camera.

The camera dolly two powered wheels in front with a powered steering wheel in the back.  The steering wheel can turn 60 degrees from center to allow for very sharp turns.  The dolly has a turntable with a dual transmission in its center which allows the tilt and roll motors to control the camera's tilt and roll position.  A motor on the dolly will turn the turntable for pan control.

The dolly would respond to movement command such as: move in or out, turn wide right or left, turn sharp right or left and stop (which will stop all dolly movement).  The obstacle avoidance sensor would stop the dolly and send an alert on detecting an obstacle or pit.  The dolly would also respond to camera positioning commands such as: pan right or left, tilt up or down, roll right or left and stop will stop all camera movement.

The camera housing has power and controls the camera operation according to received voice commands, such as "start video", "end video" or take picture.  The camera would stream live feed, video and pictures to a comparable device (tablet, smart phone, laptop or desk top) in real time for capture and processing.  By separating the camera housing from the dolly the camera can have unrestricted movement in pan, tilt and roll.

The camera housing would respond to camera commands such as focus in or out, start stop video recording take picture.  More advanced units could respond to camera setting such as: zoom in or out, set shutter speed, set f stop, set aspect ration ...
