MONAMI Friends for Life
Children all over the world have always been fascinated with toys that move and do things, myself included. There is something magical to see a lifeless in-animated object come to life. Imagine a toy that can follow you around, like a pet, when you go for walks. It can follow the sound of your voice when you command it to go forward, or turn left (or right), or come back to you. Imagine that it can capture pictures on command, or record, or play a message. Imagine you being able to speak to a friend some distance away with your voice through a speaker, and afterwards command your toy to come back.
Imagine your very own alarm clock, just tell it what time you wish to wake up. Or tell it to read you to sleep. Imagine navigating the bot through a dark corridor in the middle of the night in the safety of your bed. It can go anywhere you do not wish to go. Imagine if it could help sweep everything under the bed. Imagine a brick that "learns" every time you play with it. Learn a language with it and one day, it may even have a conversation with you.
Ever watch a wrestling match? Now imagine telling the bot what to do when it is in competition with an opponent. With the Camera Module on, you can command the bot to cover a bigger area while monitoring the kids, or any other area without suspicion. Kids will definitely spend more time testing out the voice activated features to try and get the bot to do things.
I have used a walking mechanism in my feature to showcase bringing in-animated objects to life. There is something magical about a bunch of bricks walking on four legs. Thank you for reading.
