Get Them, My Robots!
Introducing voice-controlled minibots that follow the rules you teach them.
Their behavior may wind up surprising you.
Their behavior may wind up surprising you.
The phrase “emergent behavior” describes the phenomenon of simple components developing complex patterns when functioning as part of a collective. What behaviors will result depend on the instructions you give your minibots.
• You might have them play children’s games like Follow the Leader, some version of Tag, or Hide-and-Seek.
• They could help you find missing items such as things accidentally swept under furniture. If your commands have them function as a group, they could bring small objects back to you.
• These minibots could even learn songs and sing them back to you in the form of vibrations and beeps.
• If you cause them to divide into teams – and give them a tiny ball – they might even invent their own sport.
They will follow your rules until you update them with new ones.
Each minibot shown in the LDD-generated renders is built using 36 pieces.
