The One Who Rattles

The One Who Rattles is an ancient spirit that has been haunting people for centuries. It is said that the only way know when he is near is by listening for a faint rattling. You do not want the rattling to get any louder than a whisper for that means he is chasing you. If he catches you he will slowly shred your sanity apart until you eventually end up a babbling mess. Once he is done with you, another link is added to his chains. The only motive he seems to have for doing this is pure unstoppable hate for humanity.
