Ares VII: advanced rocket transport

The Ares VII is an advanced rocket designed to travel to Mars and back. The rocket has a very unique design with a shield generator ring to protect it from asteroids. It also has an escape pod in case the rocket gets too deep into trouble. The rocket is designed to fly to the atmosphere of Mars and stay in orbit while the astronauts take the detachable shuttle down to the planet and perform they're research. 

I used lots of experimental building techniques, to give it a more unique look.
