Spacecraft with Solar Sail
Hello everyone, building a spaceship for the journey from the moon to Mars will probably be one of the greatest challenges of our time. To master this challenge, we may need a simple, already familiar approach.
That's why I built a "simple" Spacecraft in the form of a capsule.
So that this capsule can also fly through space, I used solar sails as the propulsion. I see the advantages of a solar sail in the fact that no large amounts of fuel have to be carried along and therefore more space is available for crew and equipment.
Since the solar sails are very large, the spacecraft cannot launch directly from the moon. My idea is that the spaceship is launched from a space station orbiting the moon.
When the spacecraft lands on Mars, the astronauts can explore the new world.
So I wish the first "Martians" good luck on their journey.
