From Moo to Mars
After slightly
misreading the mission brief one rogue NASA engineer struck out on his own and developed
the Bovine Express Solar System Interim Explorer system or B.E.S.S.I.E.
Each single
cow deployment system is designed to blast a carefully selected candidate, chosen
for their resilience, intelligence and future tastiness, directly to the red
planet in preparation for upcoming manned missions.
Each B.E.S.S.I.E.
is equipped with a breathing apparatus and feeding system to sustain their organic
passengers on the long flight, and keep them comfortable once they arrive on
the red planet.
Once there the
B.E.S.S.I.E. mission is threefold, to deliver high levels of methane for
terra-forming via burping and other "off gassing", to provide additional biomass for
future crop planting via the “cow pies” left in their wake, and provide
delicious steaks, hamburgers and ribs to hungry astronauts when they arrive
after a long trip.
Mmmmmm...Beef.
