Ancient Name, Future Spaceship!

In the lore of King Arthur, the land said to border Cornwall was known as Lyonesse. In final approach toward Mars, that is the name of a large spacecraft. The forward section of the Lyonesse will remain in orbit as a space station. The rings amidships will soon deploy twenty-four very large landers; each of them will become the central building of a new community on the surface of the Red Planet. The engine module will cycle back to Earth to be reloaded with new equipment and settlers.

In the background of some of these pictures, the larger of the two natural satellites of Mars can be seen. Phobos has become the site of the primary interplanetary communications array. It can be seen in the background of some of these pictures.

This entry uses far fewer pieces than did my first submission to this contest - just 213 parts - but it represents a much larger vessel, probably coming later in the colonization process. The moonbase is just four more parts.
