X-31 Space Wasp

The X-31 "Space Wasp" is a quick and nimble, military grade research vehicle designed to maneuver across the Martian landscape in a moment's notice. One of the benefits of it's design, inspired by wasp's found on Earth, is it's ability to quickly accelerate, take off and land in tight and harsh conditions.

The spaceship's hull, canopy and wing design, make the vehicle extremely aerodynamic, provide the pilot a wide range of visibility and allow the vehicle to maneuver on four axis. It is rumored that the vehicle is nuclear powered, but those suspicions have not been confirmed.

Currently the X-31 is designated as a research vehicle and is not armed. However the vehicle was designed to be outfitted with weaponry if needed and designed to be undetectable.
