Mars Overland Vehicle and Mobile Base
The result of several countries working together, this Mars exploration vehicle has thrusters that can be used as legs when navigating the rocky Martian terrain. They also make it highly maneuverable while in space, allowing the M.O.V.A.M.B. to rotate 180 degrees and come in for a soft landing, using the same rockets as it did for takeoff. Vehicles with legs, while impractical on earth, may be a little more viable in Mars' reduced gravity. (The fuel constraints probably wouldn't work here, but I thought it was a cool concept).
