ISS Hammerhead

The ISS (International Space Ship) Hammerhead has one purpose only: to get to Mars as quick as possible and take a lot with it. Therefore it features some special design decisions.

First of all the size of the living quarters has been reduced by a lot. The Hammerhead is supposed to be a freighter and not a passanger ship.

To reach Mars faster and to establish a fluent way of cargo transportation is has not only one but two nuclear electric propulsion engines.

The ship is also able to set up a fast and steady communication system to Earth,by seperating its head and turning it into a a giant com-satellite.

Also, there are now two Spacehopper VTOL shuttles on board. These shuttles can each carry six freight containers at a time and bring Earth-stuff to Mars and Mars-stuff to Earth.
