Caronte (from Moon to Mars Spaceship)
Caronte, a simple, but high versatile spaceship, assembled in orbit around Moon, and when ready, starts the travel with minifigure crew...
in the middle of the ship there is a working rotating system that generate the artificial gravity on the floor of the living modules.
when the ship arrives near Mars, the modules undock themself from the structure and will be send on the planet surface landing with parachutes.
the crew lands on the ground too inside the Command pod, than assembles the bubble modules and the equipment to create the first Mars ground base.
modules:
- Command pod / Rover: a cockpit to control the spaceship, but when landed it becomes a rover
- Wheels module: a cargo with deassembled rover wheels
- Cargo bay: a bulk with inside solar panels for the ground, tubes, battery and parabolic antenna for the base
- Greenhouse: provides food
- Science: a lab for experiments and infirmary
- Crew: living space with beds
- Airlock: let the crew change the spacesuit before go out the base
