Meet the new six wheeled hauler from Volvo: Taurus
Utilizing rocker-bogie suspension and all wheel steering making it one of the best all terrain haulers out there.
Each of the six wheels is equipped with an electric motor powered by a hydrogen fuel cell.
All wheel steering provides excellent maneuverability. There are four steering modes:
- Front wheel steering
- Front and middle wheel steering
- All wheel steering
- "Crab" steering mode for diagonal movement
The dump bed is lifted by ferofluid hydraulic cylinders providing excellent lifting capabilities.
The cabin provides driver with high comfort and safety. All needed information is projected to front windshield. Huge windows provides driver with excellent view range.
Taurus is equipped with surrounding scanning sensors that send data to AI which analyze the data and provide driver with information that helps prevent dangerous situations.
