Volvo Stilt Installer
This crane is used to aid in the installation of stilts under existing buildings.
Due to the increased risk of flooding caused by global warming, buildings will need to be elevated. Installation of stilts is done by using a laser cutting drone to separate the building from the dirt around it. At the same time, quick-dry concrete will be poured into the cracks that the laser cutter creates. The crane then hoists the building. It does so by hooking on to a drill that has a hook attached to the end (installed by one of the workers into the cement). Then the four workers, riding on hover pads, lift the stilts by their handles and install them into the ground. The hover pads are controlled by the worker's brains via the connection on their back to the hoses. After the stilts are in place, the building can be carefully lowered onto them by the crane. Then the cement is sliced off and voila, the building is now on stilts!
