The head of Marshblight the Troll has adorned the Tavern wall since its founding in 972 DR (Dale Reckoning). Marshblight is fond of colourful language and regaling patrons with stories of the Sword Coast.

Some say that Marshblight’s body still roams the Troll-moors in search of its missing head.

Was that a fateful knocking at the Tavern door? Pay it no mind.

A Rogues’ Gallery occupies the Tavern’s first floor, a place where guests can find a shadowy corner to lurk in and a warm cup of Calimport tea. Disturb the occupants at your peril.

Outside the Tavern, the City Watch are in pursuit of the Bakery Bandit, a criminal who has been pilfering baked goods throughout the city.

The Tavern Keeper toils away, unaware that the notorious felon has taken shelter beneath her roof, amassing a golden-brown hoard.
