Greetings! From Outer Space!
With the idea of a space themed postcard, I wanted to make something you would send to your grandmother while on vacation. I tried to keep in theme of those classic, vintage postcards with the text on the card, while still adhering to the actual postcards that The LEGO Group has produced. I wanted to keep that subtle whimsy and creativity that LEGO is known for by adding the hints of a rocket ship or a tiny UFO. As well, I wanted the planets to be completely removable and modular. You can easily remove the large planet and create your own planets to explore throughout. The letters, as well, are made to be easy to work around and are also removable and easy to replicate. The black background could be removed as well and replaced with any scene you would like while the frame stays in position. The 2 stud width base is enough to hold it upright. It is also 221 pieces and is intended to be packaged in either a polybag or small box for easy shipping and eager purchasing!
