I Heart Pluto
In 2015, the New Horizons Spacecraft brought us an image of Pluto that made it live in our hearts forever. This postcard is a tribute to our favorite (dwarf) planet inspired by that image. Pluto is set floating in a field of stars with its five moons (Charon, Hydra, Kerberos, Nix, and Styx). The base represents Pluto’s surface, with mountainous terrain sloping down to the white icy plains that make up its icon heart formation. Tying it all together is a mini version of the spacecraft that started all the love, flying through space on its continued journey of exploration.
