Muscle Car

The horsepower wars of the 1960's and 1970's saw the rise of the muscle car, a lightweight, high-horsepower vehicle wrapped in high-visibility colors and accessories such as mag wheels, spoilers and graphic racing stripes that say "Hey, look at me, I'm fast, loud, and fun!"

My entry to the vintage car contest is this 1970-is muscle car. This mean machine will look great cruising the streets of any Lego city. Featuring a brick-built stripe treatment, large rear tires for an aggressive stance, rear spoiler, and chrome hood accents, this muscle car is loud, proud, and on the prowl. Will there be a street race late at night through the main drag of Bricksburg? Only your imagination will tell.

This car employs both traditional studs-up and SNOT building techniques and at slightly smaller scale than Speed Champions, will still fit a minifigure. The parts used are available in a wide range of colors, so the garish vibe of the 70's can be enjoyed here in the brick.
