"The Roadster" (1930s)
The decade of 1930 was marked by the Great Depression and the excesses of the Roaring 20s were slowly giving way to a time of moderation and self-control. However, the 1930s saw a golden era of luxury automobiles. The angular shapes of the 1920s were replaced by continous, sexy curves, and the car engines grew in size and power reaching extremes such as the in-line 10 cylinder engine featured in "The Roadster".
Inspired by those great times, "The Roadster" features a completely studless appearance. Obtaining the desired curves was most certainly the biggest technical challenge, attained by a combination of slopes and half-bows which I am pretty satisfied with.
For an extra touch of finesse, "The Roadster" is equipped by removeable trunk- and engine covers, revealing a realistic engine and enough space to store Emmets crossbow, as well as opening doors (my trademark) and a fully-constructed racing seat.
I hope you all enjoy this model!
