Vintage Yellow Taxicab
Every modular city needs a way for minifigures to get around and what better way than by taxi!
This model is inspired by American yellow taxicab's from the 1950's. I think this is a style of vehicle that would compliment the modular buildings really well, especially the more recent American style sets like "Downtown Diner" and "Corner Garage".
The car is 6 studs wide by 17 studs long and contains 187 parts. There are 2 minifigures included, the taxi driver and a passenger.
The trunk can be opened with plenty of space for luggage.
The cab features a detailed interior including driving controls and a donut on the dashboard. There is space inside the car to sit three minifigures.
I've also created a bespoke sticker for a LEGO Ideas inspired licence plate.
The image below shows the taxi alongside my current LEGO Ideas modular building projects, Bricks & Blooms and Brick Town Police Station.
Thanks for checking out my entry in the contest and I hope you like the model.
