1970s Personal Luxury Coupe
The personal luxury car market was invented in the late 1950s. Wealthy Americans who wants to stand out bought this type of cars to show their status. Fast forward to the early 1960s, automobiles are changing radically. The tailfins of the 1950s disappeared and the sharp edged cars. With the decline of muscle cars, the sales of personal luxury cars increased. Their sizes and fuel consumption also increased. They were fitted with many luxurious features, and even though they were fitted with large engines, the weight of the cars blunted the performance. The personal luxury cars of the 1970s were known by their features like vinyl roofs, opera windows, fake continental spare tire covers, enormous chrome grille, rear wheel spats, and sometimes, hidden headlights. This Lego creation has them all! And it's covered in gold paint, because why not? Anyway, thanks for stopping by and I hope you like it!
