"Pizza Delivery" Van
Why has that plain white "Pizza Delivery" van been sitting at the curb all day? Why does it have antennae and a radar dish on top? And what are those suspicious characters doing with those unmarked packages? Well, I don't know about those suspicious characters, but this vintage Pizza Delivery van holds a surprise inside - a crew of police officers running surveillance on those shady guys!!
This build is based off the vintage 1960's American forward-control van platform. The interior has space for a rack of equipment, three minifigures (one driver and two officers), as well as storage in the back for the three pieces of illicit cargo seen in the photos. The back door opens and the top and passenger side pieces are easy to remove for interior access yet sturdy enough to hold the vehicle together quite well. At 6,2 studs wide and around 15 studs long, the model is easily buildable in several colors and features both studs-up and SNOT techniques throughout.
