Defender Saves The Holidays!

Heavy snow and ice have closed the roads, and no holiday deliveries can get through, unless, you have a Land Rover Defender to rescue the day!

Braving the breaking ice river and deep snow the Defender hauls it's trailer filled with presents to the stranded towns people just in time!

The scene was created using thousands of loose white and clear pieces layed over several baseplates with brick built terrain underneath. A mix of different transparent colours were used to create a natural and 'cold' look for the ice and several tubs of white 1x1s were draped over the land to create snow.

Now for The Land Rover itself I wanted something a bit special, so I made a creator expert style body built onto a fully motorised and remote control chassis, so it really works!
