Flora and Fauna - Mountain Postcard
My greatest passion (right after LEGO) are mountains. And the place I like to go the most is the Tatra Mountains, which are the highest mountains in Poland and also one of the most beautiful places in Europe. That is why I decided to reflect the beauty of the Tatras in some kind of postcards.
I tried to include the most characteristic elements of the fauna and flora of the Tatras:
- in the background you can see high peaks and green hills
- the upper part of the vegetation is made up of spruces
- below, a lower layer of vegetation is created from various shrubs. Here you can also find Fireweed, a purple-pink plant that blooms in August.
- we also have here representatives of the Tatra fauna - the largest predatory mammal in Poland, the brown bear, and a wolf that hid in the bushes.
The bear was the most fun to build because instead of using a ready-made cast, I wanted to test myself and build it from bricks, which was a really interesting challenge, especially on this scale.
