The Secret Life of the Clock Owl

Every hour when the clock strikes twelve, the clock owl will present himself. His hoots and toots keep humans on time, echoing with a melodic chime. But have you ever wondered what happens to this little bird, during the times when he can't be heard? Appearing every hour must be incredibly tough because the amount of uninterrupted sleep he gets is barely enough. To maximize his hours of counting sheep, he sacrifices self-care for sleep. He orders pizza instead of preparing a healthy meal, which in the long term isn't a good deal. So I think it is time we give the clock owl a break and consider if it is also something we should take.
