Micro Black Falcon's Fortress

To celebrate 90th anniversary of LEGO, I made a micro version from one of the most iconic castle "Black Falcon's Fortress". There are many fabulous LEGO castle sets in the past, however, I think this one is the milestone of castle theme. It is the first castle with round towers which made it more like the real castle. It is sad I never had this castle set, but now I’m happy I built it in micro way.

 

This micro version Black Falcon's Fortress is playable and with cool looking as same as the old set. The fortress can be one compact stronghold or be an extended small town, that why this model is so attractive. I also made some "micro" figs for this creation (OK, I know it is not so micro, it is about half size of minifigs), especially two micro knights. The interesting thing you may found, the micro horse is the dog part in minifigs scale. It is the best solution I could figure out to make a proper micro knight.
