The Camouflaged Micro-Outpost

This year, Lego reminded me of my childhood memories by bringing back from the past the Forestmen's Hideout.

It was one of my favorite sets and probably one of my oldest. And while Robin and Little John were hiding in their tree, my little brother had all the rebels of the forest gathering in their Camouflaged Outpost. We each had our forest set and we spent hours playing with them. They were two of the most significant Castle sets of my childhood, even more than the Royal Knight's Castle I got later.

I loved my tree, but the Camouflaged Outpost was exceptional and offered a lot of playability with its rock's main entrance, its secret entrance and its complete opening in two parts. I tried to reduce this set while keeping all these removable parts which make its charm and which brought us so many hours of pleasure.

Thank you Lego for all our childhood memories.
