King Leo's Micro-Castle Memory

The LEGO Castle theme has had some incredible sets throughout the years, but none is more memorable to me than King Leo’s Castle. 

I can still remember opening the box in the basement with my brother, and the hours spent playing with the drawbridge, gate, and all the fanciful scenes within.

More than our other toys, this castle set had a magical power. It transported us to another time and place. Suddenly the blue shag rug became a crocodile-filled moat, the stairs became a craggy mountain, the couch became distant hills, and the tv and stand became the projectile launcher from the set!

I wanted to share those stories from my childhood playtime through this memory-packed build. Hope you all enjoy the small details in this micro-build as much as I enjoyed sneaking them in!
