Cheesey Knight's Castle
My micro scale castle build is based on set 6073 Knight's Castle from 1984. It was my very first Lego set! I loved the armoured minifigures, the twin turrets with their green and white banners, and of course the distinctive red arch surrounding the working drawbridge gate.
I tried to recreate the original square lines of the old castle system. The dark grey around the front two windows is to mimic the stone patterned castle wall print of the original large panel pieces. The build also includes 43 cheese wedge pieces to give the castle walls their signature parapets. This miniature build also includes the 6 Black Falcon Knights with their colourfully saddled horses, the signature red arch gate with working drawbridge and hinged walls allowing the castle to be opened. The Knight's cache of spears, swords and shields are hung upon the interior castle walls.
