6077-2 Forestmen's River Fortress (1989)

The Forestmen's River Fortress was my favorite set as a child (and, judging from the Bricklink Designer Castle in the Forest, I'm not alone). While my family could only afford smaller sets, after saving my allowance for two months I had enough money to buy the new Forestmen's River Fortress. Finally, I could build a real castle! This is my microscale tribute to the original: I wanted to capture it as best as I could, including the hinged back, dungeon cell, portcullis, and even a forestman hanging from the vine. I hope it provides you with as much enjoyment as I had building it!
