Micro-Scale Lion Knights’ Castle
As a lifelong Lego fan, Lego Castle has been one of my favorite themes, so seeing it come back for the 90th anniversary of Lego was amazing. The final product, The Lion Knights Castle, has got to be one of the best Lego castles I have ever seen, with so many cool features that make this set feel like a true culmination of all the previous castle sets. When I saw this contest, I figured it would be fun to recreate this amazing castle in micro-scale form.
This build consists of 1085 pieces and 22 microfigures. I recreated nearly every feature from this set using the images of the set that have been released online. Similar the original set, the micro set can fold into different configurations, meaning it can be displayed in multiple different formats.
This was a very fun build to make, I enjoyed recreating details of the Lion Knights Castle in a smaller size and finding techniques to capture the shape of the original set. I hope you enjoy the final outcome of the set as much as I did!
