6098 - King Leo's Castle

There have been many LEGO Castles over the years. Some new, some old. I wanted to create one from my own childhood, set 6098. I was 8 at the time and was really into LEGO trains and Star Wars. But this castle drew my eye. It was big, fun, and lots of blue (my favorite color) So I couldn't help wanting it! This set used a classic mountain baseplate were each seciton could be removed and interchanged. You can see on the inside the kinds throne and I hung the lion banner cloth on the back. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did building it!
