Original: Atlantic Waves
100 years ago, radiotelegraph officers mastered the skill of one-button communication. With a single telegraph key, they sent weather warnings and answered distress calls. They saved lives and brought the modern world closer together.
In this game, you will:
- Communicate with shore stations and ships crossing the North Atlantic.
- Issue warnings of heavy winds, storms, icebergs, hurricanes, and volcanic ash fall.
- Answer distress calls.
- And of course, you will learn Morse code!
The game starts slow and builds up speed. How long will you last?
Design notes:
- Apart from LEGO microgame assets provided, I wrote all the game's scripts.
- I used Bricklink Studio to create all the LEGO models, as well as the ocean's seamless texture.
- I used the "Rock 1" prefab in the LEGO asset pack to create all the land masses.
- All models are generic and do not refer to third-party IPs or to any specific vehicles/buildings in real life.
