The Emergence of Consciousness - More Than an Algorithm?

The exhibition is divided into a total of 4 sub-areas:

Main room: The structure of the brain, a complex shape that holds the secret of our consciousness. Will we at some point be able to reproduce it technically?

Blue Area: A historical journey through time, how our closest relatives learned to use tools and how technical developments have changed our communication, the tool for our collective memory.

Green Area: A simple idea can gain momentum like a domino effect and lead to a chain reaction of technical progress. Machines learn to beat us at chess, play and compose music, and create virtual new worlds.

Red Area: Human consciousness. What is it that really makes us who we are? Is it the genes that we are born with, it is our talents and interests that we develop over the course of our lives, is it the people and relationships that accompany us in our lives?
