Dr Kilroy’s Expedition to Egypt
Welcome to the grand opening of the Bricksburg Natural History Museum’s newest exhibit: Dr Kilroy’s Expedition to Egypt!
After dedicating his life to the study of ancient Egypt, Dr Kilroy has decided to share the rarest treasures from his personal collection with the world. Step back through time as you enter between statues of Anubis and Re, and meet the mummy of Pharaoh Hotep and the Re-Gou Ruby, said to curse anyone who removes it from watchful eye of the Pharaoh.
Around the exhibit you’ll find a diorama of life along the Nile, rare antiquities, and a section dedicated to hieroglyphics, including the Rosetta Stone. Signs educate visitors as they share Dr. Kilroy’s joy for the wonders of Egypt.

Like all the Adventurers sets from my childhood, I wanted to build something that tells an open-ended story, but is infinitely playable. A removable, inverted pyramid roof, and hinged walls allow the set to expand, giving access to each area in the exhibit and enhancing display value.
